
Post Matric Scholarship (PMS)
Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) is a government initiative aimed at supporting students from economically weaker sections -GEN,OBC and SC, ST categories who wish to pursue higher studies after class 10. Financial assistance It provides financial help in form of tuition reimbursement, admission and exam fees and maintenance allowance for hostellers and day scholars. To be eligible, students should be studying in an institution named after Class 11 and have a family income below the prescribed limit. Students must renew their applications
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a resident of India
Must belong to GEN / SC / ST / OBC / EWS category
Family’s annual income should be below ₹1,00,000 – ₹2,50,000
Must be enrolled in a recognized school/college (Class 11 or above)

How to Apply – PMS
1️⃣Visit Website: Go to pmsonline.bihar.gov.in
2️⃣ New Registration: Click “New Registration” and create your account
3️⃣ Fill Application: Login and enter personal, academic, and bank details
4️⃣ Upload Documents: Aadhaar, caste, income, domicile, marksheet, bank passbook, photo Fee structure,bonafide certificate (stamped and signed by your college/school)
5️⃣ Submit Form: Review details carefully and submit online
6️⃣ Download Print: Take a printout for future reference

National Scholarship Portal (NSP)
The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) was introduced by the Indian government as part of its Digital India drive to provide students access to a single platform that offers various scholarships from public sector and other state funds. Its aim is to simplify, clarify and time limits the application process. “The students can register, fill in the forms, upload documents and track the status of their applications for rent-cum-means, pre-matric and post matric. Eligibility criteria and deadlines vary for each scheme. Applications for BECAS can only be submitted through a website
Eligibility Criteria
Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority/General (depending on scheme)
Annual family income should be within the scheme limit (usually ₹1 lakh – ₹2.5 lakh)
Students must be studying in a recognized school/college/university

How to Apply – NSP

2️⃣ Click “New Registration” and read the guidelines carefully
3️⃣ Fill in personal details, select the appropriate scholarship scheme
4️⃣ Verify mobile number & email ID
5️⃣ Login with Application ID and Password
6️⃣ Fill the form with academic & bank details
7️⃣ Upload all required documents
8️⃣ Final submit and take a printout
